The School Clinic Morley Street Brighton BN2 9DH
We are looking to appoint a part-time Health Engagement Worker to assist with the delivery of an enhanced outreach service which delivers healthcare on the streets, in day centres, hostels and emergency accommodation.
Movement between settings will largely be conducted on ebikes to facilitate case-finding. This project has been running for 18 months, and so requires staff to demonstrate a high level of flexibility, drive and ambition, in order to achieve the benefits which we anticipate for our patients. You’ll work closely with the Outreach Team Coordinator who is an experienced clinician and other staff from Arch to ensure the success of the project.
Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organised, driven, open and caring. They will be able to think on their feet, have great problem solving abilities and be comfortable with the uncertainty which inevitably accompanies a new project in its infancy. Most importantly they will be dedicated to the delivery of the highest possible standards of care for people who are living without homes in Brighton and Hove. It is our absolute priority to ensure that all our services are accessible, open and available to everyone who needs them. We believe we can achieve this best through a diverse team and are committed to developing a workforce which is representative of our whole community. If you are passionate about our vision and our values, and are excellent at what you do, come as you are and we’ll do all we can to help you succeed.
