Where to find help when we are closed
Our opening times are listed on this page. On weekdays between 5pm and 6.30pm, we have off-site reception cover for urgent matters. If this is the case, call the surgery on 01273003930. Otherwise, the following services are available:
NHS 111
NHS 111 is a national advice and help line for all medical problems. Simply dial 111 or visit the NHS 111 website. In an emergency when the surgery is closed please contact this out-of -hours service on 111. Other than in an emergency, please use this service before attending the A&E department at the hospital.
Other Local Services
Local Pharmacists
Your local pharmacist is qualified to give you expert advice.
Walk-in Centres
Walk-in centres treat minor illnesses and injuries that do not need a visit to A&E. Walk-in centres are open 08:00 – 20:00, seven days a week including bank holidays. You do not need an appointment and will be seen by an experienced nurse. Your nearest walk-in centre is:
Brighton Station Walk-in Centre, Aspect House, 84-87 Queens Road, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 3XE.
Telephone: 01273 203058.
A&E
Hospital A&E departments are for serious accidents and emergencies, not minor injuries or health problems. Patients will be prioritised according to the urgency of their case. Your nearest A&E hospital is:
Royal Sussex County Hospital, Eastern Road, Brighton, East Sussex BN2 5BE.
Telephone: 01273 696955.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
