Outstanding feedback from patients highlights the compassionate, person-centred care provided by our team.

100% Positive Patient Experience in Two Surveys

We’re delighted to share the results of two recent patient surveys. In both the National GP Patient Survey and our own annual patient survey, 100% of Arch patients reported having a positive experience at our GP surgery.

In this year’s National GP Patient Survey, 100% of patients rated their overall experience of our surgery as good or very good. Within the results, we were also pleased to see that 100% of respondents described our reception team as helpful and 99% said the health professional they saw or spoke to was good at treating them with care and concern during their last appointment.

We were equally delighted that our own annual patient survey found 100% of respondents said they had a positive experience as a patient at Arch, with 86.5% describing their experience as ‘excellent’.

For many of our patients, accessing healthcare has not always been straightforward. We know that experiences of homelessness and social exclusion can make it difficult to engage with health services. That’s why creating a welcoming, compassionate and non-judgemental environment is at the heart of everything we do. This is reflected in the comments from some of our patients and demonstrates the profound impact this approach can have:

“Thank you for working so hard. You have made such a difference to our lives.”

“Drs and Nurses are brilliant. It’s the first time since being an addict…that I’ve been spoken to like I’m a human.”

“The doctors, nurses and staff go above and beyond. I have been helped so much by Arch.”

“I feel seen and heard here.”

“Just brilliant. Make you feel comfortable. Make you feel like a human being. I’ve never had that before.”

“The staff are so kind and really listen. Non judgemental.”

Gary Bishop, CEO, commented, “these survey results reflect the tireless commitment of our whole team to providing high-quality care that is accessible, respectful and centred on each person’s individual needs. Reading the comments shared by our patients is a powerful reminder of the life-changing difference that can be made when people are treated with dignity, compassion and respect.”

While we’re incredibly proud of this achievement, we know there is always more to do. We will continue striving to provide outstanding healthcare for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, ensuring every patient feels heard, valued and supported.
