BSc Adult Nursing
MSc Contemporary Nursing with Advanced Practice (ANP)
I qualified as a Nurse in 2008 and initially worked in Emergency medicine before moving into Primary Care in 2012.
I developed an interest in health inequalities when working with Gypsy and Traveller communities and went on to raise awareness and develop training for staff as part of my master’s innovation project. I am passionate about making healthcare accessible for marginalised communities and thinking innovatively about how barriers can be removed.
I am also a post-graduate researcher on the Public Health doctorate programme at Hertfordshire University. My research explores the role of community health champions during COVID-19.
Joining Arch and the Outreach Project was a great opportunity to develop a service that makes healthcare more accessible to the most vulnerable. I am keen that those with lived experience of homelessness are involved in the shaping of the project and the team at Arch share these values.
